Julie is a seasoned freelance makeup artist and hairstylist with over 15 years of diverse experience in celebrity styling, commercial print, fashion, video, and film. Formerly co-owner of J2 Photo Productions, her role encompassed hair, makeup, styling, production coordination, administrative tasks, and creative direction. Despite facing a career shift due to unforeseen circumstances, Julie's relocation to Southern California expanded her reach across the Southwest—serving clients in AZ, CA, NV, TX, and New Mexico. As her children have grown and she embraces a newfound freedom, Julie's extensive background growing up on a farm and working in varied fields brings a unique perspective to her craft. Her makeup journey began early, transitioning from a retail cosmetics manager to top-tier sales roles where her public speaking and makeup application expertise flourished. Freelancing became Julie's true passion, driven by her attention to detail and dedication to making clients radiate confidence both inside and out. With a remarkable reputation, she's collaborated with leading photographers and crews, honing her coordination and time management skills on set. Julie's vivacity, on-set rapport, and makeup artistry have solidified her status as a highly respected professional.
